Take it Outside – Rent a Spot in Kitab Coffee House Terrace

They make their Vietnamese coffee differently than the traditional way. Still tastes good though. I like that their drink menu is not showy. But the decor of the place is impeccable. Their book selection is great and the top floor is dedicated to students studying and doing serious work. Very quiet with multiple outlets to charge your electronics.

Formerly Seven Pennies, but the coffee is still as good as ever, and so are the prices. Fairly quiet atmosphere, conducive to study.

Coffee has an amazing taste. Quiet cozy place with a lot of seating on both floors and outside, pleasant music. Big variety of books in English. Suitable to reading, studying, working

I can’t say enough about this place. I am a regular at their first branch and was excited to hear about their new location. I visited in their soft opening and was pleased about the short walk from the bus station. I love Kitab to get my work done, their amazing atmosphere keeps me productive for long hours. They have a good selection of seating options but my favorite is their huge communal tables, lots of space for all my work and most importantly lots of plugs. After I finished my work I enjoyed reading a book from their wide selection and played with one of their new puzzles. Staff as always are super friendly and give good recommendations for drinks. Their coffee is fresh and delicious and the personal note on the cup is always a sweet touch I look forward to. I have personally recommended Kitab to many of my colleagues and friends and I can’t wait for my next visit inshallah.

I’ve been coming here for a long time now, it was always the best place to study. However, lately it’s very strange how the manager doesn’t care to open the heater in this cold weather! This has been a regular occurrence for the past month at least! Is it some kind of cost cutting? The number of visitors is decreasing in a very noticeable way!
